Terms and Conditions for Man Plus Van Express

Definitions

“Company” refers to Man Plus Van Express, the provider of the man with a van service.
“Customer” refers to the individual or entity contracting the Company’s services.
“Goods” refers to any items being transported by the Company on behalf of the Customer.
“Service” refers to the transportation of Goods by the Company using a van and driver.

Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made by phone or email.
A booking is confirmed once the Company has acknowledged acceptance.
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the Goods, collection and delivery addresses, and any special requirements.
Payment terms are bank transfer or stripe with a pay with link prior to the service taking place.
The Company reserves the right to charge additional fees for congestion charges, parking fees, waiting time over the allocated time booked, extra mileage, etc.

Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the Goods are adequately packed and protected for transport.
The Customer is responsible to check all items on and off the van and sign a delivery ticket.
The Customer is responsible to assist or supply assistance loading and unloading the delivery load into and out of the property unless otherwise agreed.
The Customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to both collection and delivery points.
The Customer must inform the Company of any fragile or valuable items.

Company Responsibilities

The Company will provide a LWB van and driver for the Service.
The Company will take reasonable care in Protecting the Goods.
The Company will take reasonable care in transporting the Goods.
The Company will aim to arrive at the agreed time but cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic.

Insurance

The Company has Goods in Transit Insurance.
The Customer is advised to have their own insurance for valuable items.
The Company is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packing by the Customer.
The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service is subject to a £10 cancellation fee.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England.

Refunds

If the company has taken payment and can not provide the service for any reason or the customer cancels more than 24hrs before a full refund will be issued within 7 days.

If you have any heavy or oversized items or Items requiring special handling then you may need to employ a specialist mover instead of a man with a van service.
By using the services of Man Plus Van Express, the Customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
